Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation treatment. Using a sterile blade held at an angle, Traci gently removes the layer of dead surface cells along with the fine vellus hair — peach fuzz — that traps oil and makeup. The skin left behind is noticeably smoother, brighter, and an ideal base for makeup.
There is no downtime. The hair grows back exactly as it was — finer vellus hair does not grow back thicker or darker, despite the common myth. Many clients book dermaplaning before an event, or on a regular cycle for maintenance.
